It is the stated policy of Mikisew Cree First Nation to encourage the development of the Nation by encouraging employment for Mikisew members. 

Where possible, Mikisew members will enjoy a priority in all hiring.  We encourage our members to complete grade 12, and we work with our members to build their capacity once they are hired.

Our Employment Services and Education Departments can assist members in obtaining upgrading to enable them to find work, and provide Life Skills and other training.
