Financial Report

Mikisew Cree First Nation has a fiscal year ending on March 31 annually. The annual operating budget is prepared for Council and then is approved by the members each year.

On August 29, 2011 the membership passed the 2011/2012 operating budget. The budget premises and principles are fiscal responsibility aimed at achieving an overall surplus, through effective budget performance monitoring.

The annual financial audit for the year 2010/11 has been completed and the audited financial statements have been sent to INAC and other stakeholders.
